A device for the visually impaired

What is it?


VisionTech is a device that aids people with visual impairments as they navigate their way through life.

If an object is 17 feet away, the device will start beeping. As the object moves closer, the device beeps faster.


Sounds of various frequencies are emitted based on location.
If an object is on the person's
Left side: 400 Hz
Right side: 1000 Hz
In Front: 600 Hz

If the user falls, a text is sent to an emergency contact.

How It Works


VisionTech uses three ultrasonic sensors to detect nearby objects.





An accelerometer measures x,y, z values in real time to detect the motion of a human being.
